What type of events will you paint at?
We love to face paint and will consider all requests, for example fun days, fetes and shows, in-store promotions, theme nights, corporate or fundraising events, open days, carnivals...the list is endless...
How much do you charge?
For parties are fees are - $75.00 / £45.00 for a single hour. $65.00 / £35.00 per hour for 2 or more hours. Approximately 10 - 12 faces can be painted in one hour. For fundraising, charity events and fetes we are happy to chat.
Can I pay online?
No.Unfortunately we are unable to accept online payments at present.
Is it safe?
We pride ourselves on our high standard of hygiene. We use a clean sponge for every face, water is changed frequently and all equipment is washed at the end of every working day.
We only use professional water based face paints which are all EU and FDA approved, containing anti bacterial and hypoallergenic properties and can easily be removed using mild soap and water or baby wipes (although some staining can occur for a short while after removal depending on colour of paint used and skin type).
We will not paint anyone who appears to be suffering from cold sores, conjunctivitis, infectious skin conditions or any other skin complaint that may worsen with the application of cosmetics.
Illusions Faces takes extreme care, however in the event of a reaction the artist cannot be held responsible.
Is there an age restriction?
Yes. We reserve the right to paint children under the age of 2 as their skin is just too gentle.
Do I have to provide any equipment?
No. Our artists will arrive at your event with all the necessary equipment including chairs. All we require is adequate space to set up.
